Joellyn is the Director of Development at Equality Federation, the strategic partner to state-based organizations working to win equality in the communities we call home. In this role, she is responsible for the maintenance and expansion of our major donor portfolio and corporate giving program, bringing resources to increase the impact of our Leadership and Advocacy programs. Joellyn has spent over 2 decades in the fight for social justice, starting as a door-to-door fundraiser where she learned how to speak with passion and get fed along the way.
Most recently she spent 3 years at Bend the Arc: A Jewish Partnership for Justice working on immigration reform, voting rights, criminal justice reform and LGBTQ rights, and with AbilityFirst giving voice to adults and children with developmental and physical disabilities. Joellyn graduated from UMASS Amherst with a degree in Women’s Studies.
With your support, we'll be able to continue our work to build the leaders of today and tomorrow, strengthen state-based LGBTQ+ organizations, and make critical progress on the issues that matter most—like protecting transgender people, ending HIV criminalization and ensuring access to care, and banning conversion therapy across the country.
