Janeesha is the Director of Leadership and Capacity Building for Equality Federation, where she leads the organization's leadership development and capacity-building efforts. As an experienced leader, Janeesha's journey began at the US House of Representatives, coordinating high-profile events for political leaders, diplomats, and other dignitaries. In addition to her expertise in event planning, Janeesha has also worked on capacity-strengthening work in the early childhood education movement, is a certified professional listener, and holds certifications as an emotional intelligence facilitator and trainer. These experiences complement her role at Equality Federation, where she focuses on providing impactful and memorable experiences for diverse audiences while also working to ensure that state equality groups build power by developing and supporting strong, resilient, and adaptive leaders in sustainable organizations.
