Welcoming Our New Board of Directors

August 1, 2013

Each Summer Meeting, we bid farewell to board members who have completed their terms, and we welcome new officers and directors who will lead the Federation through the coming year.

In Salt Lake City, we said our goodbyes to two stellar board members who helped the Federation navigate a series of changes over the past several years: PROMO's Executive Director, A.J. Bockelman, and at-large member, David Toth. Many thanks to AJ and David for their committed service to the Federation and our members!

To fill these open slots, we voted onto the Board two new at-large members who will help the Federation continue offering the services that our members have come to rely on: Aaron Welo from St. Louis, Missouri, and Sam Nitz from Washington, DC. Many of you met Aaron and Sam at the Summer Meeting, and we look forward to seeing more of them in the coming months.

In board elections, the Federation welcomes the following new officers:

Katie Belanger, Chair of Equality Federation (Fair Wisconsin)
Brandie Balken, Chair of Equality Federation Institute (Equality Utah)
Jody Cofer, Immediate Past Chair of Equality Federation Institute (At-large)
