Summer Meeting 2014 FEDtalks — Watch Now!

August 25, 2014

Every Summer Meeting is special, but the energy of this year’s gathering was as unique as the movement moment we’re in. This energy was felt throughout the Meeting, but especially during our favorite plenary session: FEDtalks.

For FEDtalks, we invited state leaders to take five minutes to share a big idea, talk through an innovative strategy, or offer up an exciting concept. We were amazed at what we got!

FEDtalks topics ranged from rebuilding your organization to working with businesses to being a transgender ally — and everything else in between.

These energetic and captivating presentations about the most innovative parts of our members’ work stood out, once again, as a major highlight of Summer Meeting. So we wanted to share them with everyone, not just the folks who joined us at this year’s meeting.

In the coming weeks, we’ll be releasing each individual FEDtalk on our blog — so keep checking back!

Our first FEDtalk comes from Leo Kattari, Health Policy Manager at One Colorado.

Second, you'll hear from Brandie Balken, Executive Director at Equality Utah.

Want To Make A Difference? Support Our Work

With your support, we'll be able to continue our work to build the leaders of today and tomorrow, strengthen state-based LGBTQ+ organizations, and make critical progress on the issues that matter most—like protecting transgender people, ending HIV criminalization and ensuring access to care, and banning conversion therapy across the country.
