Registration for Summer Meeting 2014 Now Open!

March 27, 2014

It’s time to start thinking about summer. Warm breezes, green trees, vacation days. And Summer Meeting.

Each year, the Equality Federation Institute hosts the Summer Meeting to bring together the sharpest minds and the most strategic players in the movement for LGBT equality. More than 150 of these leaders join us to connect and forge relationships, collaborate for future success and build momentum toward even greater wins in the communities we call home.

The 2014 Summer Meeting is happening July 30 - August 2 and will feature informative workshops, inspiring speakers and incredible social events -- in the amazing city of Minneapolis, with OutFront Minnesota as our host.

Equality Federation Institute’s annual Summer Meeting is the premier gathering of state-based and national LGBT movement leaders.

For our 2014 meeting, we were looking for a host city that embodies our commitment to working locally, to building a true grassroots movement, and to winning big, even when it’s hard. We found it all in Minneapolis.

Over the past two years, Minnesota has been at the forefront of bold, historic change -- defeating a constitutional amendment that would have limited the freedom to marry in 2012 and passing marriage for same-sex couples in 2013. Minnesota has placed the Midwest on the map for its leadership on the most critical issues facing the LGBT movement: marriage equality, safe schools, healthcare access, and beyond.

We look forward to welcoming the movement’s savviest leaders to Minneapolis, July 30 - August 2. Make sure you’re one of them; register now!
