Equality Federation is the strategic partner and movement builder to state-based organizations winning equality for lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) people in the communities we call home.

We’re making a huge impact across the country through our flagship programs:

Our Fairness Project is about finishing the job started in the 1980s -- the job of ensuring that all LGBT people are protected from discrimination in employment, housing, and public accommodations.

Our State Leadership Project is about building strong, resilient, and adaptive leaders who propel their organizations and the movement for equality forward.

Our Lived Equality Project -- from building safe and just schools to strengthening state organizations beyond the marriage milestone -- advances the critical issues that affect how LGBT people experience the world from cradle to grave.
