Thanks to the Sponsors of Equality!

July 7, 2013

The Equality Federation Institute is proud of the diverse group of sponsors supporting our Leadership Conference this year in Portland, Oregon. The annual Leadership Conference brings together LGBTQ leadership from around the nation for 4 days of planning, presenting our successes and challenges, and fellowship in order to guide and build the movement for the next year and beyond.

We are not able to do this work without the generous support of organizations, labor unions, foundations, and corporations who support LGBTQ equality.  This group of 31 sponsors represents the broad spectrum of support needed to embark on such an ambitious agenda.

Here are just a few of the generous supporters of our conference telling us why they support our efforts…

“Equality does not have a color, sex or orientation. Equality is about love, acceptance, and equal rights. We salute and honor your work and wish you all the best for your conference. As the largest political consulting firm solely owned by people of color, Solidarity Strategies is proud to stand with the Equality Federation and their Leadership Conference.”
–  Chuck Rocha, President of Solidarity Strategies

“Inclusivity is a core Lyft value. Our diverse community of passengers and drivers includes a vibrant and valued LGBTQ population. We are thrilled to support Equality Federation to amplify the message that no matter who you are or who you love, you have a seat up front.”
– Tommy Hayes, Policy Partnerships, Lyft

“EveryAction is a proud sponsor of the Equality Federation’s Leadership Conference. They are champions of equality and inclusion, advocates for LGBTQ people, and can mobilize a community and engineer policy change like nobody’s business. We are honored to provide the Equality Federation and many of its affiliates with the unified technology platform they need to achieve their mission.”
– Faizan Faruq, EveryAction

“Clarity Campaign Labs is proud to partner with the Equality Federation, for their summer meeting and for programs all year. This year has proved what we’ve known – from Houston to North Carolina, the fight for LGBT equality is happening in local communities, and we’re glad to be there to support the Federation and their partners.”
– John Hagner, Partner at Clarity Campaign Labs

We could not be more proud to have garnered the financial support of such a diverse group of supporters.  In order for us to win new victories, and protect the gains we have made, it takes the largest coalition possible.
