Ian Palmquist is Director of Leadership Programs for Equality Federation, the national strategic partner to state-based organizations working to win equality in the communities we call home. LGBT people have unique health needs – and face unique challenges when accessing the care they need. In New York, the team at Empire State Pride Agenda has been working for years to meet the needs and address the challenges faced by LGBT New Yorkers. Just this week, they released a new report that will improve the health and well-being of the state’s LGBT community for years to come.
