Newton, Massachusetts voted to specifically include people who are transgender in its nondiscrimination ordinance. Salem, Brookline, Somerville and Worcester also passed transgender inclusive nondiscrimination ordinances this past summer, joining Boston, Cambridge, Northampton, and Amherst. Cudahy, Wisconsin Passes Nondiscrimination Ordinance

Cudahy became the fourth city in Wisconsin to pass fully gender-inclusive non discrimination protections. Wisconsin is one of three states that allows discrimination against transgender people in employment and housing, and one of four states that allows discrimination against transgender people in public accommodations.
